First up these old wooden water skis. I think they will look so cute up on the wall somewhere, hubby is not so sure.
Of course, when I went on to Pinterest to check out if anyone else had posted pictures of old water, downhill or cross country skis used as decor, I found this (so cute)....
and this....
and this (a pair of skis and an old ladder)...
And for the holidays, there were these ideas as well...
Next up, is an old oak chair that I picked up at the side of the road with a "Free" sign on it. It definitely has some new fabric in it's future...stay tuned....
Then there are these old metal headboards that were left with our cottage and I haven't been able to part with. I know I can find a use for them somewhere, after a good scrubbing and painting, of course!
And of course, an old wooden chair, with it's adorable scalloped seat profile. I'm sure to find a home for it in one of the bedrooms.

Why can't I find amazing stuff on the side of the road?
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your cottage and all those fabulous finds in it!
I love the pics of the skiis. I have a pair at the cottage I only bring out in the winter... Perhaps I should put them to good use. Have no idea what the last pic is but my curiosity is piqued now.
ReplyDeleteI like the hooks. What a great idea...
ReplyDeleteAmazing ideas for the skiis, Lisa. I am totally loving the coat hooks, the vignette over the console, and the ladder/skiis combo! Can't wait to see what you do with yours!
ReplyDeleteBut I'm also seriously envious of your other project opps! You are going to have so much fun with all of this!
Thank you for sharing. Love this inspiring post :-)
